Kalette® & Feta Loaf

Nothing, absolutely nothing, beats the smell of a freshly baked loaf. And this recipe is no exception to the rule. Not only does it smell amazing, but it tastes phenomenal and is almost a meal in itself. So, what are you waiting for? You’re only an hour or so away from your first Kalettes® and feta loaf.

Lunch of ontbijt

Ingredients Kalettes® met Feta loaf

  • 1 Pack Kalettes®
  • 225g All-purpose flour
  • 150g Whole wheat white flour
  • 23g tbsp Baking powder
  • Generous pinch salt and black pepper
  • 225g Crumbled feta
  • 2 Eggs
  • 120ml Cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 180g Plain Greek yogurt (2% or full fat)
  • 180g Cup whole milk
  • 60g Chopped walnuts (Optional)


Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease a loaf pan with baking spray or line with parchment paper.

Step 2

Wash the Kalettes®, separate the leaves and dry thoroughly. Chop the Kalettes® finely into fork length pieces.

Step 3

Combine the flours, baking powder, salt, pepper, Kalettes and feta in a large bowl.

Step 4

Whisk together the eggs, olive oil, yogurt and milk in another bowl.

Step 5

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix together until just combined.

Step 6

Transfer the batter into the loaf pan.

Step 7

Sprinkle the chopped walnuts on top if using.

Step 8

Bake for 45-50 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the middle of the loaf comes out clean and edges start to brown.

Step 9

Let sit for 10 minutes before removing to a cooling rack.
